The startup MeuquartoemLondon was present at the Web Summit 2016, held between 8 and 10 November in the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. The Web Summit is one of the most important technology, entrepreneurship and innovation events in the world, and just to get an idea, it has brought together more than 72,000 people from 165 different countries, 2,000 journalists, 1,500 investors, 2,000 companies and 663 speakers.

The speakers were CEOs of large companies and entrepreneurs who are still starting out, artists and economists, footballers and renowned journalists. Just to name a few - The Guardian, The Economist, Booking.com, Tinder, Framestore, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Cisco, Xerox and Canon.

Throughout the days, it was possible to move between the 15 thematic stages that addressed different subjects such as code, data, content, design, companies, fashion, health technology, marketing, money, music, startup society and machines. The lectures happened simultaneously and one of the most difficult things was to follow everything we wanted to see.

There was room for everything - to stroll around the stands and meet different companies, virtual reality experiences, good food, optimism in the market over the next few years, excellent discussion panels and of course, networking with people from different parts of the world. Super we recommend this wonderful event for next year!
